Revelation 3:20-21

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

This is the scripture that I came across when God gave me the epiphany to write this poem. It reminded me of a painting I saw a few years ago at Youth Week where there was a man standing outside of a door to a house with a lamp stand and love in His eyes. The door hand only one handle and that was on the inside of this house. It depicted an image of when a person will open their heart and let Jesus inside their life. I wrote a poem to have a story of what happens in our hearts and lives and that ultimately it is our decision to let Jesus in and if we do He will restore our lives.

The most used people in a Life-time are people who are completely devoted to what they believe in. The devil is also looking for committed sinners. Individuals who have chosen to take delight in the counsel of the devil.

She has a Bachelor of Social Work and  from the year 2009-2013 she volunteered with Face The Nation Botswana as a peer mentor and counselor; and is passionate about mentoring pre-teens and teens, which she still does with gladness. She taught and mentors the senior Sunday school class of Assemblies of GOD Tlokweng, which comprises of pre-teens and teens since 2011 till August 2015. She relocated and currently serves at Spirit-Filled Church in the same capacity. A wife to Alebakwe Moganetsi, she recently left her job in August 2015 as a tutor of Dyslexic children at Right To Learn Edu-Psych clinic to focus on establishing her family and dreams. She believes building a strong nation starts by first building strong families and youth. Writing and reciting poetry are the voice GOD has given her to express HIS mind and to speak order into our societies, to encourage the broken hearted and mostly to point people to Christ. For her poetry is not a performance but a ministry and chance to heal hearts and speak for Christ. Enjoy!

The poem titled ‘You Stay’ was written at a time in my life when I felt like I was drifting from GOD yet I could experience HIS love and care for me more than before. I could see details of HIM pursuing me even when I wasn’t pursuing HIM. I didn’t seem to be making any effort to seek HIS  face. But when I was overwhelmed with shame, I kept on sensing HIS love in my life.
