I discovered writing at a pretty young age and it has been an integral part of me ever since. I guess my love for books and movies also went a long way to inspire me to pick up my pen to write my first piece. I believe God gave me this wonderful talent of writing to help me shine even in my reserved personality.
He knows me better than anyone else and He knows what I can do considering who and how I am.

Trusting and believing God when everything else doesn’t make sense is one of the hardest things to do. Sometimes it is hard to soldier on when you do not understand what is going on, when you cannot understand why things had to happen a certain way, why you can‘t have something and why certain things only happen to you. It’s even harder when people are trying to encourage you by telling you that God chooses his strongest soldiers for His battles. You will just be there asking yourself why it had to be you and which strength are people referring to when you feel hopeless and just wish you could stop feeling.

A straight forward question. Isn’t it? But first what does fellowship mean? According to the free dictionary, online, fellowship is defined as ”The companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere and on equal terms.” Many-a-times as people , we take this issue of fellowship lightly. We do whatever we want to do, anyhow we want to do it, with whomever we want to do it with. But I believe when we talk of spirituality, great sensitivity and selectivity ought to be exercised in such issues.

Early on Sunday morning my family and I were preparing for church. My papa told me that in God’s house you will always be safe. It was the only time my brother and I could ever leave the house. We had stopped attending school three months ago. The civil war in Uganda was diffusing throughout the country and so was Kony’s propaganda. I could understand why papa had restricted us. We already lost mama when she went to the shops a few months back.

God spoke the world into being. Words have the power to create the life we want to live by creating mental images of that life. Action makes it possible to realize that vision. Praying is simply asking, making a request to God. Talking to God as you would a friend.
I am a product of prayer, mine and others. I believe you are too. That is why I strongly believe that after praying we should go on and live like we really placed our issues in the master’s hands.
